‘Valencia CF visits your school’ kicks off a new season in Torrent
The Club will visit twelve schools with special attention to the centres affected by the flash floods
Valencia CF ambassador Ricardo Arias spoke about what he felt was an unfair decision against the team in their match against FC Barcelona. He passed comment on a controversial penalty given to the home side, in conversation with Movistar+.
"I'm surprised and annoyed. It seems that the only one who saw the move clearly was the referee. I don't understand why something that has such an impact on the scoreline was not consulted on with VAR. The movement of the FC Barcelona player was called. You can clearly see that Gayà touches the ball. The Barça player, feeling the presence of Gayà, does what a forward has to do, which is to dive headfirst. I don't understand why decisions are made like this, so quickly and so drastically.
